The 9th Asia Steel International Conference (Asia Steel 2024) will be held in Changsha, Hunan Province, China on September 4-7, 2024, which is a continuation of the 1st and 5th Asia Steel International Conference (2000, 2012) in China, the 2nd and 7th Asia Steel International Conference (2003, 2018) in India, the 3rd and 6th Asia Steel International Conference (2006, 2015) in Japan and the 4th and 8th Asia Steel International Conference (2009, 2021) in Korea.

As the largest steel producer in the world, the steel industry in Asia is facing serious challenge in R&D for better quality of steel products and more friendly to environment. Asia Steel 2024 is to provide a forum for the academia, researchers and engineers from Asia and also all around the world to exchange state-of-the-art development and information on issues related to the iron and steel production and processing.
