Dear Congress Participants
I am greatly honored and happy to announce that the WFO and KFS would like to cordially invite you to the 74th WFC, which will take place in Busan, Korea, in the period of Oct. 16th-20th, 2022. In a global complex industry situation marked by the pandemic, every foundryman wants to have a strong revitalization of the foundry. Also, people are really willing to meet in person again, celebrating the conference with old and new friends. In this important situation, we are cordially preparing the conference with the highlight program of “Cast the Future”, which is the slogan of the conference. We will diagnosis the foundry, make the vision to carry out foundrymen’s mission in the specially prepared program. On parallel with this, we have invited the prestigious 6 plenary and about 40 invited speakers, and more importantly all of you as the distinguished participants for this blessed event. We will provide 6 topics sessions together with the WFO Ferrous Forum as well. Exhibitions, sponsorships, works visits together with various social programs will also strongly back up your professional networking, showing that we are alive and will contribute forever. Let me introduce myself as the president of the Korea Foundry Society, who is preparing the newly organized 74th World Foundry Congress in the year of 2022, hopefully after coping with the COVID-19, a big feast for the global foundry industry. The 74th World Foundry Congress will be a good opportunity for foundries to discuss upcoming issues and interact and work together for better business environment. We will provide valuable exhibitions of the foundry related companies and make a good platform service for not only science and technology but the effective business occasion. I would like to thank to the renowned former presidents of Korea Foundry Society and the executives of the WFO member countries for their efforts to successfully host the congress.
